NICKY here and I'm a 2+ year old Boxer boy. I was dumped in Houston and then I was hit by a car...my leg was very badly injured to the point that it could not be saved. I lived with my hurt leg, abandoned in a park for a while. Some very nice humans brought me food and water and finally got a rescue to come and take care of me. These nice people have given me food, water, shelter, and the vet care that I needed. After a full review, I was not able to keep my leg...but, that's OK...it does not slow me down one bit!
I am in a very nice foster home with small children, other dogs, and a cat and I get along with everyone. I am recuperating from my surgery and healing very nicely. So, if you are looking for a very sweet, three legged dog that needs a chance to be a permanent part of your family, then I'm the guy for you.
My foster parents report that I am very sweet and that I already know commands...like SIT, DOWN, and STAY. So, in addition to being very handsome...I'm smart too!
