Clue is what we call a "pocket Boxer" weighing in at less than 30 pounds. He loves to do the Boxer wiggle and Boxer burns around the back yard. He plays with toys and with his foster sisters - both dogs and kitties. He came to us very much in a sad state and had obviously been neglected and starved. Through the TLC of HBR volunteers he was able to use his fighting spirit and overcome starvation,and even a bad case of distemper.

This guy is a lover and a snuggler - if you love Boxer snuggles without the licks (he doesn't lick - it's super cute!) he is ready to snuggle with you. Despite his hard life before HBR he is full of love, tenderness, playfulness and a true fighting spirit. He spent his days unsocialized and uncared for before HBR - to what degree we'll never know - but he's working really hard to figure out how to be a good family dog. He's great with his foster kiddos - boys who are 10 and 12.

He is working on basic obedience and is very smart ~ the right family for Clue has time and patience to work with him on basic commands and basic rules of domestic life. He can sit and stay (okay, stay is for a few seconds but it's coming along!), he can come, he can lie down and he definitely knows "no" and his name. He is good in his crate and sleeps through the night. The vet believes Clue is about 2 years old - and like most 2 year old boxers, he has a puppy spirit in a grown up body. Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
