Can you believe someone who must have called themselves a good owner put a collar on me and didn't expand it as I grew???  It became embedded in my neck and was actually surgically removed!

I have been in foster care for a while now so here is the scoop on me...
My foster Mom says I'm very sweet, house trained and crate trained.  I am not keen on the crate and may take some coaxing and nudging to go in, but I remain calm and gentle.  Once inside I don't bark, whine, or scratch out.

While I am not a jumper (good quality!) I do like to hold hands/paws.  I won't get on the bed, but the sofa is a comfy place share with my peeps.  I am eager to please and respond quickly to "no", and we are working on "sit".  I am not food aggressive and take treats gently from your hands.  Generally speaking I am a gentle gal all the way around!  I loved all the kids I met over the holidays and wouldn't mind having one or two of my own!

If food is left within my reach I am not above counter surfing so please slide everything back or put it away.  Shoes have a special attraction for me.  So far I have not chewed any but my foster Mom keeps close watch.  Best thing would be to put shoes away and close closet doors, to keep me honest.  Loud noises give me pause so taking me to a fireworks display would not be a great idea.

I need a 'real' family who will love me and give me the care I deserve!  Is that you?  I hope so!!!
