Hi there, I'm Barley! My foster mom says I am stunningly handsome with my shiny fawn coat and black mask around my eyes. They are estimating that I am about 1.5 years old. I wandered up to a kind stranger who tried very hard to find my owners. When that did not work out, I found my way to Houston Boxer Rescue to find a new forever home. I am starting to come out of my shell and play with other dogs, but I am still not sure what to do with all these toys in my foster home. I also try really hard to play with the resident cat, but he is kinda cranky and doesn't understand that when I bark I am just trying to play so he "spits" at me which I find really rude. I am crate trained, although it is not my favorite place to be. I prefer to follow my foster mom around and make sure she remembers that I am there and ready for rubs. She calls me a "velcro dog," whatever that means! I am also house trained as long as I am kept on a schedule. I have not really figured out how to tell my people I need to go out yet. Foster mom says I am super smart and eager to please, so with some training, that should come. I am hoping I can find a home with another Boxer to play with and show me the ropes and people to give me lots of pets and rubs. Is that you?! I hope to meet you soon. - Barley

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
