Hi Everyone!! My name is Bane!! Let me tell you a little bit about myself, we don’t know much as I was found wandering the streets but a nice person brought me to Houston Boxer Rescue and boy are they taking care of me now!! The vet believes I am about 10-12 months old and came in a little underweight but we are working on the now, I LOVE to eat!! I also LOVE treats!! I am proud to report I am heartworm negative.
I am a very sweet boy that only wants to be loved on, I like to lick and give hugs!! Seriously, I will stand on my back paws to wrap my arms around you lightly for a real hug!! I haven’t had any accidents in my crate and am almost completely house trained. I do get a little separation anxiety when I am left in my crate and I bark or whine for just a little bit but I am getting better on knowing that is my safe space, and its not so bad!
I have been around kids that are 7 & 11 and I love them!! I don’t think I have really been taught how to play but the kids are teaching me how to fetch, it’s a pretty fun game! I love love love playing with any toy I can find, and if you do not want to play fetch, well I will just do it myself! Let me tell ya, if you don't know about young boxers, we are usually HIGH energy. If I am not playing with toys you can most likely find me running around in the back yard. I just love to zoom!
I love to play outside, sit in the grass and enjoy the sunshine!! I am learning about cats and but I have spent more time around other pups now and I enjoy them, especially when they play with me! I would like to have a family that has the time to play with me and take me on walks!! My foster says I am really good on a leash and will stay right with you while we are walking. I just enjoy being outside and taking in all the sights and sounds!
I am still a bit of a work in progress but I am learning more every day about manners and what it takes to finally know what it feels like to be in a home where I am loved and taken care of.
