Jemma here. I am a cute, petite, approximately two year old, brindle, female boxer. I was rescued from the shelter by Houston Boxer Rescue, and now I’m looking for my forever home. If you are looking for an energetic, fun, sweet, snuggly, loving, best friend, than I am the gal for you! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way.

I love to be active, play, and have fun! I know how to play with other dogs, dog toys, and with school age kids (or older). I’m always happy to play chase or a good game of tug of war. I love to go on walks and would make a great running partner for someone. 

When I’m not in play mode I like to be right beside my humans. I will follow them around from room to room, or lay down beside them if I get the chance. Although it’s not my favorite thing, I will sleep in a kennel at night or when my humans aren’t home. 

I’m doing pretty well on learning my manners too. Since being with HBR I have learned to not go to the bathroom in the house, how to sit (especially when there is a treat involved), how to walk on a leash, and to not counter surf when I smell something good. Since I am smart, my foster mom says I’ll continue to learn as long as someone loves me and takes time to teach me.

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
