Hi everyone! My name is Conor and I am one of the newest additions to the HBR family! Wanna know more about me? Here we go! From what is known, my story is I was part of a group of wonderful wiggle butts that somehow made my way into one of those scary shelter places. Thankfully, some really kind people helped out my fellow pack mates and I, and now I am safely and securely in a home. It was said that I was probably the leader of my pack, but in a gentle way. That is what is known, but let me tell you what my foster family thinks has to be added to my story. I am only 2, but I spent some of that time in a home. They think this because I am so gentle and kind. Care to know why they think that? Here goes! First, I know to go potty outside and I am not crazy hyper or untrained. I do have some basic manners! But, time on the streets has made a bit of a difference on me. I am timid at first around new people and new environments, but please dont stop reading yet! Once I realize you will love me like I deserve, I will be your bestest sweetest friend! I am learning once again how to play with toys. Those are kinda fun, especially when they squeak! I am learning how walk again on a leash, but sometimes I get scared. I will need your help to make me understand that it is ok to go places on a leash. I am learning, but still need some more time. I am so appreciative now of regular feeding too! I might try to wander off to other doggie bowls if they have good food in them though because I am kinda used to having to find it for myself. But, if you tell me its not my food, I wont bother it; promise! I like going for rides, but I may need your help getting in out of the car...I think I can, but again, just a little timid about where we might be going! I think I would rather be in a house with some of those 4 legged friends as they seem to kinda help me not be so scared and to trust my 2 legged people more! Despite just a little bit of trust issues at first, I really am the sweetest boy ever! To wrap up this little story, I know I am a special guy! It will just take the right family to understand I am still worried about being left on my own again. I cannot do that again!!! I have been told I am one boy that deserves a special life from here on out and I have been told I will be forever grateful to the lucky family that picks me!!!
