I’m going to tell you a real story, starting with my name. My name is Harriet, It means “Ruler of the home” so it’s a little ironic that sadly along with my sister I was an owner surrender. We all know that happens from time to time, but it leaves a dog very insecure and not sure of what we did wrong. Because of this I’m little shy, and can be a little skittish in a new environment at first. I’m a Boxer though and that means I’m forgiving and just want to be loved. My foster mommy says I love to cuddle, I’m 90% house trained (I had 2 little accidents, sorry), I love other dogs, not aggressive over my food, I don’t chew things that are not mine, and I am a natural girl with a full tail. I’m trying to live up to my name, I was told there have been a lot of famous Harriet’s, an activist, author, philosopher, pilot, singer, even an actor. Who knows what I could become if given half a chance. So if you want to come along with me on my journey, fill out an adoption application and set up a visit I would love to have a forever family to call my own.
