Hi. I’m Keke and I’m looking for my forever home. I was found as a stray and turned into the animal shelter. I was scared and lonely while I was there. I knew I wasn’t in the best shape and that my skin and fur didn’t look great. I was worried that no one would be able to look past those things and see what a great dog I am.  I feared that’s where my story would end and that I would never make it out of the shelter. 

Fortunately for me, I was wrong. When the people of HBR took one look at me, they promised to help. I’ve never been so happy. I was so happy that I didn’t even mind when they took me to the vet because I knew they were getting me help. After staying with the vet for a little while, I noticed some things. I started to feel better and my skin was itching less. It was a wonderful feeling!

Then the time came for me to leave the vet and go to a foster home. I was a little nervous about that, but I knew it would be better than the shelter so I went along. Oh my! Let me tell you, my foster home is a million times better than I could have ever expected! 

In my foster home I’m loved and treated like family. That’s how they’ve taught me to be part of a family. I get to be inside, play with the other dogs, play with toys (toys are my new most favorite thing ever), and play with my human foster family. They take me on walks and I walk down the street like a lady on my leash. 

Speaking of being a lady, I want to let you know that I’m always on my best behavior. I’m always careful to sleep in my kennel without making noise or a fuss, and I’m proud to say I’ve never once had an accident or made a mess in the house! Also, as any lady would tell you, I’ve learned to be cautious about some things. For example, I don’t like to go out at night by myself and I’m very cautious around strangers until we’ve met and I know they can be trusted. What can I say? A girl can’t be too careful these days. You know?

  Transport Fee
 

Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
