Hi, I’m Peetie!  My foster mom says that I should be called Sweetie because I am a super sweet and a big cuddle bug!  Even though my life has had lots of change lately, I’m still a caring and loving dog. You see, after Hurricane Harvey my mom couldn’t take care of me anymore. She had to work late all the time and was working so many hours! I ended up being by myself a lot and she had to try and find people to help take care of me. This made me really sad because I loved her and I was lonely. Finally she made the difficult decision to let me go and live with another family. Even though it was hard we both knew it was in my best interest.

But don’t you dare feel sorry for me! I am actually very lucky because there was someone in my neighborhood who works with Houston Boxer Rescue and already knew me. She knew what a caring, loving, and social furbaby I am, so she helped me get into HBR and she became my foster mom! Now I get to live at her house, play a lot, and receive lots of love while I’m waiting to be adopted. And even though this place is really great, I have a feeling that there is somewhere else I meant to be. Who knows? Maybe that place is with you!

So let me tell you a little bit more about me. As I said, I like everybody! I love other dogs and I love all humans, especially kids. They can be a lot of fun to play with! And you know what? I even like cats! I don’t want to brag, but I really am fabulous!

I’m crate trained and potty trained.  I like to play with dog toys and I even know not to tear up my foster fur sister’s toys!  What can I say? I know manners matter and I like to use them! I've definitely learned a few things now that I am six years old. 

Speaking of my foster fur sister, we really love to go out and play in the back yard!  It’s so much fun to be with a family and get lots of love and attention. It really will be a dream comes true when I am adopted and I have a forever family of my own!

  Transport Fee
 

Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
