Hi! My name is Onyx and I'm looking for a new home. I was surrendered by my family to Houston Boxer Rescue (HBR) by my old family. I guess they couldn't take care of me anymore and I had to spend a lot of time outside. But please don't feel sorry for me, my future is looking much brighter these days! 

So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I can sometimes be a little shy or guarded at first, but I love people! I even like to be around little kids, but I'm much better at being around older children and adults. For the most part I'm a pretty calm pup, but I do like to play and have fun too. I know how to play by myself and I also like to play with other dogs. One of my absolute favorite things to do is cuddle and snuggle with my humans though. 

Hmmm.... Let's see. What else should I tell you? Oh! I know! I'm housebroken (that means I know that I should only potty outside) and I do really well staying in a crate when my foster family has to leave for a little while. I also know how to sit, lay down, and walk on a leash! One thing that's kind of silly is that I like to try and talk! It always comes out like a bark, but one day I just might get it right!

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
