My name is Crystal, but you can call me anything and I will come. It takes me a little while to warm up to bigger animals, but once I do, I can really get into cuddling them and playing with them. I have separation anxiety, so I don't like being away from my Hoomans, I really like to cuddle. So basically what this means is I get really upset when you leave me, or put me in my kennel. At night I do really well in bed with you, so you really don't have to put me in a kennel, I promise I'm a good girl in your bed, just don't put me in the kennel at night and my anxiety won't be an issue. During the day if you have to go to work or leave for a few hours, I get really upset, my foster mom has me on melatonin, and it helps. But don't let my anxiety issues deter you, I really am a super sweet, good girl. I'm getting better with my anxiety, my foster mom has dealt with it before so she is helping me to come around. I know sit, shake, I'm potty trained and kennel trained and just learned to use a doggie door, and I like it a lot. I am now playing with my foster fursiblings, and I really like the small one, I'm coming around to the big boy, my furbrother. The little one licks me and jumps all over me, especially when I am rolling around on the floor. She's a puppy so she doesn't bother me much. My foster brother intimidates me a little, I think it is his size, but I've started to come around to his way of thinking, he is very gentle and I like that about him. I've started to become curious about toys, but they haven't gotten my complete interest yet. But like everything else, I'm sure I will come around, especially if my little fursister keeps bringing them to me. I need a home that is willing to work on my issues; my foster mom says I have come a long way in a few short weeks. I need a home that is calm and will give me the love I deserve, I don't have to be an only dog, I prefer little dogs (they don't intimidate me), but it will take me some time to warm up to my new furmates, I take directions well so if you tell me no or be nice I understand I'm not supposed to do something. I have learned how to use a doggie door to go outside, and sometimes I like to go out and sun myself. I am no longer a velcro dog, whaterver that means....my foster mom says I have learned it is okay to be alone on my bed. But if you Cuddle me and I'm all yours. I like little hoomans especially when they pet me and start loving on me. As you can see by my pictures I really do love other dogs, I just get scarred easily and it is my natural reaction to snap at other dogs in my space, especially on my first meeting. My fursiblings don't give me space and I am okay with it now, just remember it takes me a few days to warmup to them and then I will be happy to play and snuggle them too. My foster mom tried to introduce me to a cat through glass, but the cat swipped at me and I growled, so I don't think I like cats.
