JUDE here and I'm a 2 year old Boxer boy. I was lost on the streets of Houston and that is not fun for a dog. I was getting really tired, hungry and I was covered in fleas. Then, someone walked up to me and said, Hey Jude...don't be afraid...you just need a friend. I agreed and got in the car.
No worries, I got a bath...and flea medicine...and some shots...and now I'm good as new. I'm chilling at the vet waiting to move into a foster home. In a foster home, i get to have food, love, toys and other dogs and humans. I have to tell you, I'm getting pretty excited!!!
As a young boxer boy, I will have all of the KEY boxer traits of being fun-loving, bright, and active. As Boxers, we were the first dogs trained in Germany to be police dogs, so we are used to working. What that means is that I need exercise every single day. Take me for a walk or play frisbee or throw the ball for me and then I'll be ready to hang out with my humans for the rest of the day.
YES, we Boxers love humans. As Boxers, one of our key needs is to be with our humans and get our loves and affection. This makes our whole body happy and we wiggle and twist, which is often referred to as the Boxer peanut move!
I will need exercise every day. So, take me for a walk or a run or throw that ball and once I have done my exercise, I'll be ready to sit back and relax and watch you cook dinner, clean the house, or pay the bills.
I will be a great companion as long as you provide me with the exercise and mental stimulation that I need each day.
