Hi my name is Balboa and am a big lovable guy living with my foster family who likes to sit on the porch. I like to watch my foster mom in the kitchen. She doesn’t give me human food but I put my nose up in the air and smell everything she is cooking! It smells so good. I lost my right front leg in an accident when I was I was young so they call me a tripod, but I’m just Balboa the beautiful boxer boy. I love to lay next to you and watch movies and have my belly rubbed.  Just received a new wheelchair which I’m trying out so I will be able to go on a little walks, and maybe play in the yard with my foster siblings. I love my food, and I’ll do just about anything for treats. I sleep all night in a nice soft bed in the master bedroom and love to lay in the living room on my blanket. I get along good with my foster sisters and brother; their are four of us.  My foster sister is an alpha Boxer female and she gets on my nerves sometimes, but do love everybody. I listen well and I am a good guard dog with a different bark.  Because I am smart, I just learned how to use the potty pads in one week because my foster family lives upstairs and a bonus,  I am crate trained.   I love to go for car rides, short or long, but do require a r amp for easy access so I can look out the window at all the people and scenery .  As I am an older gentlemen, I take a pain medication for my arthritis and have some salves that I use on places that rub against the carpet when I get up and down.   I’m looking for a forever home that will show me lots of love,  to snuggle up, very loyal and a pretty healthy guy and be a calm safe place to live.  Please t ake a chance on me! 

Transport Fee:

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
