Howdy yall! Copper here and I am new to the wonderful people here at Houston Boxer Rescue! I am a super duper friendly and active 2 yo boy that is just loving life these days. But that was not always the case! For some strange reason I found myself at a shelter and let me tell you, I did not like that! Thankfully the people here at HBR saw me and just had to bust me outta there and now here I am! If you take one look at me you will see that I am a pretty handsome dude, or at least that is what I get told. I have been working hard on my manners at my foster house and I am really getting good at it! I do not go to the bathroom in the house as I learned that is not very polite. I love going on walks and I am learning how to walk better on a leash. I just get a little overly happy sometimes. I love to run! I do not like this crate thing very much, but I do sleep in it at night and while you are gone...you just might have to give me a treat to go in it sometimes. I am learning all sorts of cool commands like sit and stay and shake as well! And you will not catch me without a toy in my mouth or very close by most of the time also! I do have those dang heartworms but I am told they are treatable and will be a thing of the past in no time at all. I was kinda in rough shape before I came here. Besides the heartworms, I also had a bout with Ringworm and some other nasty worms as well! I am sooooo much better now! But, that does not stop me from being super active!! I have alot of energy, so much so, that my foster family sometimes calls me Copper Top, ya know like the battery...because I can go go go! I really am just loving life and I cannot wait to have a house to call my own forever. I get along with the other dogs in my foster home too. I just like to play a little too much for the sometimes! I would hope that an active family, maybe with some kids could come along and find me so I can play with them all the time! I promise you will not regret it, I am a special guy!!! Transport Fee
Our basic transport fee is $300, occasionally this price could change. This fee is for transporting our boxers outside of Texas up North. We do not offer transport in Texas/Louisiana.
