Hi all! My name is Betty and allow me to introduce myself. I am a 2yo female that just recently arrived here with the good folks at Houston Boxer Rescue! I have been told I have a classical boxer spirit..I didn't know what that means, but lemme tell you where I came from. I spent all day and night chained up outside and really did not get much attention. I had some puppies that HBR also took in with me and I loved them dearly! Someone said this is called human neglect? I do not know what that means, but I know I have it so much better now. I am in a loving foster home with some great two legged friends and some 4 legged ones as well. And guess what, they all really like me! So I have no choice but to love them back, right? And despite my rough beginnings I am still very much a loving caring girl. Apparently, this is that boxer spirit I told you about earlier! I have not gone to the bathroom one time inside. I know I am supposed to do that outside in the yard, duh! Also, I love love love my crate. It is my own warm bed that I am not used to having so I do not mind going in it at all. But most of all, I love to be around my humans. They are showing me what it is like to be a dog and I am really enjoying this training. Now, I have been told I have these little things called heart worms. But on the bright side, they are treatable and they will be a thing of the past very soon! With all that in mind, can you please think of me when you are looking to add another fur baby to your family? I promise I will not disappoint you! Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes up North. This fee may vary occasionally. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
